    2006-07: Deferred his exemption from winning the 2005-06 PBA Southwest Region to honor Air Force commitments. Participated in one Denny's PBA Tour event, the 2007 PBA Tournament of Champions. Finished 22nd in the event after falling to eventual champion Tommy Jones in the Round of 32, 4-2. Was all square with Jones at two games a piece before dropping games five and six. Qualified for the TOC by winning his first career PBA Regional Tour Major, the 2006 Regional Players Invitational in Reno, Nev. Finished 15th in qualifying before knocking off Ken Abner, Dave Wodka and Brian Waliczek to get to the title match where he defeated Tyler Jensen, 201-193. Competed in nine Regional events, making match play four times and cashing seven times. Posted a 209.23 average and earned $13,475.
